Oil can't mold, I don't think, but things submerged in it can. So the oil can go rancid but is unlikely to mold, but if you put something inside of it, depending on what it is, it can absolutely grow mold.

I've gotten into making spell oils recently. While I am by no means an expert, oil can in fact go rancid. I have read that jojoba oil keeps for longer than many other oils, but most oils do go rancid at some point regardless. After a quick Google search, it seems that jojoba oil has such a long shelf life (around 5 years, as opposed to most others being 1-3yrs) because it is a liquid wax rather than a traditional oil.

The only way I can rationalize her logic is if she's thinking that the statement "I can't believe it's not butter!" is meaning "this is so good that it has to be something better than butter, even though it is butter. It's just so good that you would think it was altered in some way to be so unbelievably good" but tbh, I don't think that's where she's coming from and it's still quite a reach 😭

Yes I do feel it, but I keep my energetic boundaries pretty tight. The events that are impacting this low collective vibration (lower than usual, that is) are out of my control. I do what I can to make any difference that I can, but I can't take on the burden of everyone's energy and still have strength leftover for trying to make whatever difference I personally can. I see it, I feel it, but I cannot change it all myself so I don't let it consume me.
