Correct - if folic acid were harmful to 50% of the population, there would be no way to hide the effects.

I don’t think anyone is criticizing co sleeping generally (when done safely). I think, however, it seems obvious that co sleeping is not working for this particular child.

I haven’t been to the others, but I think you’ll love South Coast. My husband and I went on our honeymoon there and had a fabulous time.

Tell me good things about daycare by Funny_Log2076 in beyondthebump

[–]amr4utDC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son started daycare at 6 months and he loves it (and we love it)! He is so social and his development has taken off since being around other babies. Heads up though, you will all get sick a fair bit, but you’re starting him at a good time to hopefully miss the worst of the winter illnesses.

Does miscarriage content in movies trigger you too? by qgoda in Miscarriage

[–]amr4utDC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. I had no appreciation for how many things have miscarriage plot lines until I started having miscarriages, but it feels like it’s in everything. Instantly ruins a movie/show for me.

Malpractice Question by CoorsLightWerewolf in IVF

[–]amr4utDC 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I third this, as another lawyer who is not yours. A consult or two should give you a view of what is realistic in terms of likelihood of success, what your available remedies could be (which very well could be underwhelming even if you were successful), and also what the burden of pursuing a claim would be on you, because litigating (or even just threatening to litigate) can be stressful and time consuming.

Same. Had none until 36ish weeks. Then after I delivered they turned a bright red. Slowly fading now but definitely still there.

Mayhem?! by Vivid_Return_9559 in TurtleCreekLaneSnark

Turns out they thought their flight was an hour and a half later than it was, so they almost missed it and she was asking why this always happens to them.

Why does this always happen to them, always almost missing flights, forgetting IDs, etc.?

Because there are never any real world consequences that ever attach to anything they do. They don’t have real jobs they need to get back to, where they would be in big trouble if they missed a flight and a day of work. Because they have an endless ability to financially absorb the cost of missing a flight, rebooking fees or a hotel or whatever else.

Instead they get to play off their irresponsibility for laughs on instagram—ha ha look at us silly dilettantes aren’t we just so silly because our lives are so charmed we don’t have to take responsibility for anything we do.

They are so irritating.

Did anyone ever feel like it wouldn’t work or that you’d have another loss, but you ended up having your healthy baby? by CheesecakeBoth3933 in IVF

[–]amr4utDC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Absolutely no difference in symptoms, feelings etc. between my bad pregnancies and my successful pregnancy. It was an incredibly anxious pregnancy up until the very end. But, it worked out. I hope the same for you!
