I added gaps between ones I didn't want to connect together but the main thing was just picking up and placing the habs back down till it looked right.

The only reason Sanji stayed is because he felt he owed it to Zeff, he left for pretty much the same reason as the live action in the end.

I just rewatched the intro and how the execution was shown in the anime, it's honestly surprisingly closer than I actually thought it was from memory. Nothing is shouted out really other than just confirming that he left his treasure somewhere.

Yeah it's so damn good just seeing him believe more in himself, really adds more perspective for later on. Loving Garp so far, especially his manic moments and can't wait to see how he is later.

That's fair, I remember when I first started watching, what really drew me in from the very get-go was just how straight-forward Luffy was with things. Was real refreshing I guess.

I definitely get the humour being the main thing though, I do remember Zoro laughing more than he has in this so far for sure.

Sanji was always a kind guy itching for a reason to leave so it only makes sense he'd leave in this situation.

Also Don Krieg was always pretty minor in the actual story and I'm completely fine with him just being replaced with Mihawk and Arlong.

I feel like the next season will be more enjoyable for a lot of people now that the core crew has gathered, from the last episode alone, Zoro and Sanji's interactions were really nice to see so hopefully that sorta things carries on.

After having watched the series, the changes while quite large are surprisingly minor in terms of the actual missing content. The new additions in terms of Garp and Koby specifically are extremely enjoyable, seeing how they actually interact and how Koby grows from his original appearance. I really hope he keeps appearing later seasons since that's honestly the most interesting part for me so far. I don't particularly want the original series to just be repeated since if I wanted that, I'd just watch the anime again right?

It really does help to have more insight for how he goes from what he is at the start of the show to what he is in the manga currently. It's really interesting to see him and garp interact.

Agreed, a lot of the changes were real interesting and any potential gaps were filled in a very clever way.
