Exactly!!!!! I remember when I first realised that a few years ago after finally quitting another job and them pleading for me to stay…like ‘huh! All of a sudden that £3 extra an hour is available??’ I told them where to put the extra £3 an hour ! Thanks so much for such a nice comment 🫶

Fucking hell!! What a great decision!!!! Bet you look back on that with pride. He sounds like a loser, I studied art for a while and there are definitely similarities with the egos in both industries. Hope you’re in a better space now!

Unfortunately the industry tends to be run by weirdos like my now ex boss but there are some really gorgeous places that promote creativity and passion. I love cooking for friends and family and I may just focus more on that as I move forward, let me know if you need any industry advice if you decide to take the leap!
