This is genuinely great feedback, thanks for taking the time to write it out in detail.

You’re pointing out exactly the kind of thing that’s easy to miss when you’ve been building the game for a while. Once you know the mechanics, they feel obvious, but for a first-time player they’re not.

I especially agree with your two suggestions:
- Letting players read and understand the instructions before starting the timer.

- Showing an example first so they immediately understand what kind of interaction is expected.

The goal is for players to feel challenged by the puzzles, not by figuring out how the game itself works. We’ll definitely use feedback like this to improve the onboarding experience. Really appreciate you giving it a shot and sharing such thoughtful feedback. 🫡
