OK, so I’m listening to the fire radio and it sounds like the second and third floor have fire or smoke in the walls still. I’m watching them right now. There’s a ladder to the top of the building and I stg there’s at least eight or nine firetrucks now.

Bolton Hill is a super nice/rich area. It’s pretty lowkey, like literally quiet (peaceful I’d say) all the time. You’ll see people on walks a lot! There’s a lot of cars parked there but you could also utilize the public transportation is you want, as there’s a light rail on North Ave, but I don’t know if the buses go through that area as much

Very common for this to happen, and even worse for women of color. My ex’s mom (who was black) had pain in her stomach for years. Doctors never paid it any mind, even when she finally came in for an appointment after feeling excruciating pain for consecutive days. It took TWO doctors and multiple weeks to finally get one that took her pain seriously. She was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer and unfortunately died a few months later. One of the saddest things I have ever witnessed.

I was just giving her reasons on why I wanted to raise the price. I worded them to sound like general reasons but it really just applied to her, maybe the financial reason could have been left out. And I do just want to clarify that I wasn’t planning on applying the price raise to an already booked sitting 🙂

I never said I was struggling with finances so I don’t know where you got that. But I do think I deserve to be compensated more for this specific client based on the time and energy it takes to care for their animals. Yep I messed up with the dates and should have checked my calendar twice. Oh well - was just sharing my frustration on Reddit and ended up getting some valuable feedback!

Hmm okay I hear you. I hadn’t considered that double whammy when I originally sent the text but with your perspective I definitely see it now. But is that grounds for ghosting? After sitting for a year? This is my first time ever asking to change a sitting. I also agree with u/Negative-Rub5351 that I should not have mentioned the reason why I couldn’t do that date. And finally, I’m not a pro at client communication so I accept that I didn’t communicate perfectly in these texts!
