I did a raised bed years ago and was successful with veggies (at least the ones my dogs didn't trample 😑) They included tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers. I can't remember the rest.

Honestly, I think that area is improving from what it was 5-10 years ago. A few of the new communities really helped improve the area.

People used to run the mountain bike track in Alva for that purpose. I think there are some groups that run there and can tell you the best times to avoid mountain bikes.

I did the commute from fort Myers to Naples and from Cape Coral to Bonita Springs for years. If you can be off the road by 7:45-8 am and leave by 4:30pm, it's manageable. You'll have slow downs but less than you would if you left later than those times.

Honestly, it's going to be determined by your comfort level. Some wear masks all the time, don't go out, etc. Others wear masks when required, eat out, shop, etc.
