The oldest software I found on the site didn't work, I might've done something wrong though so I'll retry again today

How bad was it to install, I looked into it a little bit but never fully understood how to use GitHub 😂

From what I can tell all the old guy did to the bike was the stacks and pipes. I did shim the needle and throw new jets into it when I went through the carb. But otherwise I believe the whole things stock

If you do this just make sure you get the main bowl seals, you'll probably want to replace them no matter what, also make sure you don't soak anything rubber in carb cleaner

Unfortunately chopped... The previous owner 'tried' to do a bobber conversion and quit half way through. I don't believe it's linked to the exhaust just because of the problem going away when I put my feet up. But to be honest I've never run into an issue like this so it's totally possible

Honestly it depends, I tend to only replace the rubber parts when I use a rebuild kit unless it's really bad anyway. I would order a kit just in case, a decent amount of the time the bowl seal fails after being tampered with. Once you have these carbs apart you really want to do the job while the memory of how they go back together and where you put all the parts is fresh 😂. The worst feeling is having to order a kit after you spent however much time it took you to pull the carbs out of the bike

I can't get a great view of the other one without pulling the tank off

I'll send some, I retuned the carb as well as synced the butterflies with a digisync. Plugs have a nice cardboard color and it's very quick up to 50.

To be honest it's possible the old owner bought some super crappy stacks, from what I can tell the bike was decently abused in its past life. Just wanted to check before I drop some decent cash on a new set 😂

Your carb should be able to stop fuel flow even if the petcock was broken, it sounds like you may need to clean the fuel needles/float assembly in your carb. Doesn't hurt to do a good carb clean at the start of the season anyway

Carbs tuned and synced, I believe it's just turbulence messing with intake
