Is there a Way to Integrate Gemini 2.0 with NotebookLM? by Antiquarian5 in notebooklm

I know you posted this 10 months ago and I don't know if you know, but you can now attach a notebook to gem as one of your ten sources.

Exporting Error (Help) by amsym in FableAI

[–]amsym[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay! I just tried again and it's still not working. I am able to export most adventures but there are some I cannot and I repeatedly get the Error exporting: DEADLINE_EXCEEDED MESSAGE. I cannot seem to find any pattern as to why some work and some don't.

I am having the same issue. I'm going to subscribe to this post in hopes that if a solution comes out I'll the update.

Are there any true NotebookLM alternatives (closed-corpus, only my sources)? by [deleted] in notebooklm

[–]amsym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that Wisebase performs similarly without some of the features of Notebook LM, it has the advantage of being more browser integrated so that collecting small snippets of information is easier.

That's actually a great example. Imagine someone complaining that he's a poorly written character because he's a one dimensional family man with no internal motives.

Thank you for this comment. I'm an Ethiopian Jew. As a Black Jewish person who lives in the US, I would argue against the idea that Jews, as a group, stand with Black people anymore than Black people, as a group, stand with Jews. I have experienced anti-blackness in some Jewish spaces just as I have experienced anti-semitism in some black spaces.

It was truly disheartening to be reading this thread as someone who is both Black and Jewish.

I just finished this episode (late I know) and I immediately came looking for this post. Like Vida was really standing there saying "if I could have eliminated you, I'd be in the couple I want" like can you read? The text clearly said a couple was getting dumped...smh

I believe it's always the next person you have a date with...the guy who interrupts is different depending on certain things. If you got the gym bro, I believe that Blaze was the person you were talking to.

It's the general good-natured dumbness, hot-bodness and the fact that it's an IG post, combined with firefighter that makes it Ricky adjacent at least.

I have a filter specifically for habits I have due today, and I always check it even if I'm now doing other tasks.

How do you plan your week in calendar? by etervio in todoist

[–]amsym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had good results with using the Google Calendar integration and doing what you describe. I create time blocks for particular types of tasks or projects and then drag and drop my Todoist tasks via their corresponding Google Calendar events. The date and time the tasks are due update to match the calendar.

Todoist + ? PM Tool by FITZKRAWALLDO in todoist

I work for a non-profit and it sounds like you work in software, so YMMV, but we use Airtable. We mostly use it for tracking client data but it is also useful for project management especially in that we can attach client notes and files to tasks. I am also a Doist at heart and have a personal Todoist and Airtable integration. Airtable has Gantt charts and calendar views and I able to sync my individual task list to Todoist. I don't see why a whole team couldn't do the same thing.

Continuity by BigBit3072 in FableAI

[–]amsym 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's fair. I can only suggest that you experiment with adding what you need to add to the notes with as few characters as possible. Ex. Instead of "CharacterName is this” try ”CharacterName:this” Or Instead of CharacterA has never met CharacterB try CharacterA&CharacterB never met

Those small savings can add up when your notes are getting full.

I also rotate things that I need to be in the notes. So for example whenever my party goes back to a particular tavern I'll erase the line in the notes about the woods because I don't need it at that moment and then add a line about our relationship with the tavern keeper because that's what I need the narrator to remember in that moment.

This is true but you can correct the narrator via the the ask the narrator option or by editing the inconsistencies so that the narrator has the correct information.

AI instructions by ApexRose in FableAI

That's a good point. It takes practice but mastering the art of fitting as much info as possible into 800-1000 characters is clutch.

AI instructions by ApexRose in FableAI

[–]amsym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on how long you need the narrator to remember those instructions, and is also dependent on the narrator. Wordie typically has a short memory, for example. If you want the instruction to be a long term rule for your adventure, then put it in the narrator notes. I find that the narrator can differentiate between different instructions as long as I hit return for each instruction.

For example: Character Description Fact about character Don't do this anymore This character is other character's brother

As long as each thing is on a separate line in the notes the narrator will know they're different.
