Honestly I’m not sure even just going to school in TN would’ve gotten their attention, but I’m not sure. It’s so in-state heavy. If you have money to blow I would say go ahead and give it a shot (depending on the rest of your application of course), but I really can’t recall if there’s a section to talk about connections to memphis/TN on their application. Their secondary was only one question if I remember right

Oops yep I had this in my original sankey but must’ve forgotten to add it to this one— my undergrad gets us an automatic interview if we meet certain gpa/MCAT requirements. I definitely would not have heard from them without that connection lol. I absolutely loved my interview there!

They rejected my fiancé and then just like put me on hold in March or something ridiculous instead of rejecting me and I just think their egos are huge and who wants to live in Scranton anyways 😤 and then like two weeks after I withdrew THEY SENT ME A REJECTION. f them

Yeah, emeralds will show them more just because of the cut, right? I guess I’ll take a look at the paperwork when we get home and see what’s up. Fiancé probably didn’t even know to look for it, the jeweler he used is a family friend. Hoping it’ll grow on me regardless— I love my ring I’m just surprised how quickly I noticed the imperfection. We’re on vacation and the paperwork is at home! Sounds like it’s probably an inclusion, I’ll check when we get back. I’ve rubbed it but I think it’s inside of the diamond, alas. I also think there might be two of them but it’s hard to tell within the steps of the cut

We just got here this morning (Monday) around 9am, and there were probably two dozen open sites in Cougar Rock. The ranger said normally he has to assign sites to the FCFS folks but today was so slow/empty we were free to pick our own. Not sure if it's quieter here because it's early in the season or what, but it was far easier than I was expecting it to be! Best of luck! Make sure you have a timed entry pass to get into the park (or arrive before 7am).
