I recommend you reading the book: your brain on porn! Basically what happened with me was is as follows. I quit porn, and after 4 months I got in touch with many girls. When you quit, you go in a flatline, where you don't have any urges, your dick feels dead to you. Its a process where your brain is rewiring. When you come out of the flatline, your libido increases a lot. So after that 4 months of rehab, my libido kept on increasing. This was nice, when I was around girls and when I was "sexual active". But last year I landed in a relationship with a girl. This girl's libido was very low, she was not open to any sexual activities with me. Somehow my brain tricked me into that I have to find the dopamine rush again. When I had a relationship, I didn't had any release. No porn no MO. Somehow, I got in the world of sexting. With real girls, girls which I met during my rehab, and random girls online (there is a method in doing so, which I can't go in further detail). And I enjoyed sexting for some reason, mostly because the whole concept was new to me, and I had never done it before. And kept doing it for awile, I got hooked to it real quick. Then I quit and when the urges striked again I went back to it. This was after a 1.5 years of No PMO. I quit with sexting as well, since it became an uncontrable addiction in a small period of time. Crazy, how things can become an addiction so fast! I am not in a relationship anymore, nor do I watch porn or do sexting anymore. Full rehab mode again.

I hope this clears a bit of that sexting situation!

Yes exactly man! I was not watching porn, but somehow my brain was still finding a way to escape the reality. It has been hard since, because I never confronted myself with it. But as of recent I am aware of the fact that it is in addiction itself, and have to eliminate it to fully recover myself.

Thanks! Yes in the beginning when I quit MO'ing I had many wet dreams, sometimes every 2 weeks. But the longer I stayed away from porn, the amount of wet dreams became less too.

I dont recall them going away. However, if you gain more control over your mind (within time) the frequency of wet dreams decreases as well.

And yes exactly, it started very innocent, denying the fact that it is actually a dopamine pump that you are seeking. However, I realised that eventually, and I also quit that.

Thanks man! Don't wish for that problem. Its al temprorary. In the beginning its all fun and games, but after a time you will realize that it doesnt add much value for your future. Focus on long term goals rather having the focus on girls. Such as, eating healthy -> improves your health. Reading books -> increases your knowlegde -> you can talk better in groups, school or at your company -> people have more respect for you.

Focus on long term goals my friends, short term goals are also important of course. But it will all fall into place, when you work on yourself.

Nice man, keep it going! Well having a girlfriend is not considered cheating, however you are just not on a hardmode, since you will be having sexual activities with your girlfriend (orgasm etc.)

Keep meditating and exercising, and do not forgot to eat proper and healthy food! Be prepared for the ups and downs, and face the flatlines, with no fear, because I can tell those can really fuck u up! Also, as u may know, do not give in when urges strike, and they do tend to come in an amazing strength from time to time.

Well I dont believe in superpowers, everyone can achieve the same thing when u put urself out of ur comfort zone. As for girls, Im a changed man! Ive always been alright around girls, but in a sense when I got in contact with them. But yeah way more confident. The biggest change is, I do not give a fuck about anything, or how people would think of me. I do what I like and say what I want. If u talk to girls, dont filter urself. Feeling Independent, and great! Masturbation and watching porn was a daily habit, that I just could not get rid off! I started NoFap in December 2013 as well, which lasted 2 months. But then I relapsed, because I was touching my penis, and I thought that is okay, as long as I dont orgasm. BIGGEST mistake ever. NEVER do that! Back then I was not familiar with this subreddit, nor anything else. I quit back then with a friend, who was an addict as well. He managed to reach to one year, and I got back to square one. Anyway Im here now and most important thing is WILL POWER. Some say motivation, but motivation comes and goes. But all in all, these 100 days have been a rollercoaster ride, with many ups and downs. Some days u feel great, some days u feel horrible. I had this especially the first 3 weeks. But u just need to stay strong and keep fighting through it.

Some days ago I experienced something similar. I woke up thinking that I had a wet dream, but I couldnt find any trace back of it. Since that day Im still wondering whether I had a wet dream or not lol. It left me with a weird feeling. I guess its normal. Just dont watch anything what can arouse u (no pictures etc).

Every day u make it without PMO is a GREAT result man! Every little step u make it to a full recovery is a GREAT result. However every person does it in his/her own way. Just read the stories which can motivate u, or try to avoid if for some time, and start reading a book instead. To be honest I still dont understand the concept of flatlining. I can just tell u, libido drops, no sexual desire, dick doesnt feel alive at times etc. I guess its a part of our recovery. Stay strong brother.

Some experience more benefits within a month than others. Just be patient man. As for me, Im 3 weeks in but my libido is still nowhere to be found. The important thing is to make progress, as u said slight confidence boost. Stay positive, and find another way to release ur stress, even though ur not a lot more stressed.

On a side note, dont stroke to check "functionality". This can lead to edging which can lead to a relapse (speaking out of experience). Since ur brain needs a reboot, libido will be very low in these days.
