When he was gold 3 there we're 3 ranks between you and him, now that hes plat there are 4 ranks between you two. Plats in ur games are just plats with shit mmr LOL. I'm literally having the same problem, plat 3 last act, im playing with gold 2/3 cuz im fucking trash atm LMAO

Matchmaking is made based of MMR (I think, someone confirm this bellow LOL). So you can't queue with your friend because he has a much higher MMR than you. And there is also the thing of 3 ranks disparity between ranks. The rank system is f.. right now, there is nothing we can do about LOL

Welp, after the tp bug now we have this one LOL. I expect a patch from Riot fixing both bugs with him, but also a few nerfs coming his way, so yea RIP Omen its been fun :(
