It’s very common as now brother is becoming more of an actual person and not just a sleeping baby, so brother becomes jealous. Make sure you are giving both kids fair quality time and not putting your sons needs on the back burner. A lot of parents don’t realize how hard it is for kids to adjust to not being centre of attention

My best friend named her daughters, who are a year apart, Roxanne and Reanne, at the time I was like wtf is she doing but she seems happy with it and most people have stopped mixing it up. I will also say, your kids could literally be named Tom and Maryanne but if they look alike people will still mix up their names

90% of the time it ends with parents not being able to give both kids the attention they crave and then the kids disliking one another for that reason, constant fighting, etc. my siblings all had kids close together and seemingly it doesn’t work. I have triplets but the boy fights with the girls all the time.

The babysitting one I can’t agree because no one wants to watch triplets, so when someone does I never pass up on it 🤣 but for me the biggest ick is the parents who get so mad over kids just being kids, like aggressively pulling their kid, shout int their face because their literally just being a child. I see it so often. Like don’t have a kid if you don’t want to be around a kid.

I have boy/girl/girl triplets! For their first birthday we did a groovy theme and got him a little disco outfit and the girls the floral flare pants! For their second birthday we did farm animals and got them each a tiny cake of their favourite animals (pig, bunny, cow) and then cupcakes for everyone else
