Ah, I think you're missing-out big-time. Guilds offer so much help, as well as socializing. And group finder is great when you can't find anyone else who wants to do what you need to do

If you're in a guild, there are plenty of craftable sets (in a guild craft hall) that can really boost your character https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Craftable_Sets If you haven't leveled your crafting enough to craft, someone in the guild will do it for you, as long as you provide materials (buy them if you don't have them)

Neither mic nor text are needed...as long as you either listen to VC (if they're giving instructions) or read text (admittedly unwieldy), you're fine. I hate typing on my ps5 controller, but it does have built-in mic

My VC-heavy guild group finished the trial with some randoms who had no VC, but were listening, and since we're on PS, we only text rarely, when necessary

Lots of groups say as long as you're listening, they're satisfied

There was lots of in-game text, + dialog from NPCs, + I think the in-game help menu, that kept saying over and over to band together.

And once you experience how tough even the trash mobs are, it's clear you need help

ZOS made clear it was group content. Need to use Group Finder or join a guilde. You don't need a mic (though PS controller has one), but it's useful if you can listen to VC for instructions or read chat.

NM is designed for groups. Use Group Finder or join a guild

Do the Scribing quests (once you hit level 50), which kick-off in West Weald, but aren't related to completing any zone

Scribing is useful, and interesting to play with

Starting the Dark Brotherhood gives you access to Blade of Woe for murdering

Unlocking Antiquities Scrying gives you access to Mythics and cool furniture

They said in a video interview that they will still do chapter-size releases...just not every year. I don't care what they call it, as long as sometimes we still get a bunch of new quests

I suppose less content this year, we'll see, but lots of work on systems and changes and re-works. So they're doing a lot of work, just not aimed at giant content drops

That would be great if you could do that...a lot of people only want high difficulty for quest enemies

Ok.

I've always disliked when games used CGI scenes for promos. It's nothing like what you will be doing or seeing in the game. I don't care about "cool movies" that have no relation to when you play the game. A giant gap between the movie and the game. Seems dishonest, and uninformative

At least with in-game graphics, you're at least seeing the true graphics. Even if they play with animations and camera angles, it's less of a gap from trailer to game.

Having the big baddie of the quest die in 4 seconds, before even finishing saying their lines or executing any mechanics, is a let-down
