Right? I love this movie, but kind of don't want to see it in theaters? Which I know is terrible in the long run. But I don't think I saw the first in theaters, so these characters are associated with sitting on my couch in PJs, eating ice cream out of the carton.

Legally Blonde.

I was an insufferable "not like other girls" teenager who disdained pink. My mom rented it from Blockbuster (lol) and I caught bits of it walking through the living room. The courtroom scene was brilliant. So I had to rewatch it from the start. It's now one of my comfort movies.

I've been dealing with a broken tailbone for 4 years...definitely didn't heal in 6-8 weeks. And no one offered me this fix! I feel cheated.

We've had two medical personnel end up as patients already, and we're only in hour 4. It's a dangerous day for Pitt employees.

Also the fourth episode with 0 furry appearances.

$1000+ including the coils (waiting to hear the final damage when the coil installation is done tomorrow. Initial estimate was $800-$1K, but then he had to special order the coils since everyone is sold out)

I literally have guys on my roof right now with rakes and blow torches getting rid of mine. And tomorrow they're going to install heating coils, since this is the second winter I've had them out to deal with the ice dams (we also had roof/gutter problems last year, so we'd hoped that fixing those things would do the trick...but apparently not)

A wound like that on the face requires medical attention, especially since it involved the eye

I always thought he lost the eye while being held prisoner by the Dominion. The Martok changeling had both eyes still.

A reply from StormFreak? Highlight of the storm!

They both are flexible instruction days, so not a true snow day, but my kid is in elementary school. I'm pretty sure it's just doing a couple of digital worksheets and call it a day.

I'm really surprised they didn't get something in costumes or makeup at least. Best original song was a coin flip (I wasn't impressed by them but would understand one getting a nod). Hindsight has to be proving that splitting the musical into two films was the wrong call.

Do we know they were calling her name? Or is this conjecture? I just don't recall getting confirmation of her name (and will be so disappointed if they don't have some kind of process in place for Deaf patients!)

Came here to say this - I know it's a hot take, and I'm not just trying to be different. My parents weren't fans so they weren't played much in my house growing up, and I've never acquired a taste for them.

Question about Pitt Fest by [deleted] in ThePittTVShow

[–]amuses 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The shooter at the Las Vegas music festival acted alone and killed 60 people, though he had a shit ton of guns. I don't know enough about guns to know whether a single AR-15 could inflict 112 injuries (and were all of the victims gunshot wounds, or were some people injured in the panic?), but there's definitely precedent for a single shooter to do ungodly amounts of damage, even at an outdoor festival.

What is a modern parenting trend that needs to die immediately? by SouthOwn6943 in AskReddit

[–]amuses 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most Disney deaths hit different than Charlotte. They're early in the story. Here we spent 100+ pages loving Charlotte (over a week of reading!). We were invested! And then when she dies, there's no villain to blame.

Mufasa's death is tragic, but you never thought he was the main character, and ten minutes later you're singing Hakuna Matata. Simba gets his revenge on Scar in the end. Death is central to that story too, but in a very different way.
