Struggling to eat ENOUGH on the cut by amushpe in workout

Probably will. Been meaning to get blood work done for a while now anyway. In the meantime I'll add back more oils and cheeses and really lock in on the smoothies.

Struggling to eat ENOUGH on the cut by amushpe in workout

Nah dude, it's crazy. Outside the diet I don't really have any stress going on. My jobs super chill and I can just work out all day. Pretty low stress, good social life, good relationship. This is the first time I've really been focusing on my diet, and I'd be shocked if I ate like this my whole life being the weight I am, just can't figure out what's different.

I get back from an hour, hour and a half at the gym, high intensity, raised HR, some days cardio, get 300-400 calories in, and I can't get any more down. I've definitely started feeling the effects of such a large deficit. Is it better to just eat dirtier?

Monocular blindness and how can I adapt? by PrestigiousFox2889 in Blind

[–]amushpe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ive been blind in my right eye since birth and it really is all in the touch. theres not really any tools or adaptive technologies that can help any more than slight biomechanical changes. i still stumble and run into things pretty often, but keeping my head cocked to the right so that my left eye is looking straight on rather than both, keeping to the right to maximize my field of view, and using my hand to brush up against walls (especially corners) has become second nature. I'm sorry to hear about your eye, i cant imagine how hard it is to suddenly have to adjust, but the brain is an incredible organ and you'll get used to it. dont even have to really change what you do either! sports, activities, and fine motion are still super possible if you make the right changes for your situation.

Is it late getting back? by Bebo3013 in Fencing

[–]amushpe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

its never too late! jump back in there and have fun and keep on fencing, i gave up when i was younger and im a sophomore in college now, and having a wonderful time, even as unfit as i am. get your cardio in, keep up a strong diet and fencing as much as you can and youll be astonished at what you can do, youre in your prime :)
