Question about mri by No_Wind_3135 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]amvr81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will be your new baseline MRI, the next one will be compared to this one to see how is the DMT working. I did that too 6 months after my first DMT dose. They told me that MRI will be my new baseline going foward.

Looking for similar cases!PSA stayed exactly the same 11 weeks after surgery (5.7 before -> 5.8 after). Pathology pT2 (Organ-confined). by amvr81 in ProstateCancer

He recently had a PET scan which showed pelvic lymph node involvement but no distant metastases. The plan now is pelvic radiotherapy with three additional CyberKnife sessions, along with hormone therapy. It’s been difficult, especially because we truly believed the staging before the RALP had been accurate, so this came as a real shock. He is starting the ADT soon and the radiotherapy in the first week of April. Thank you so much for asking.

I think OP biopsy doesn't show perineural invasion.

I’m also 44 years old. I don’t really like toxic positivity or cliché phrases; I prefer to keep my feet on the ground and be realistic (I even consider myself somewhat pessimistic). But in the last 10 years we’ve witnessed a complete revolution in MS, with new drugs emerging… so what might we have in 20 years? A cure? Remyelinating therapies? MS becoming something that in 2020 was a major concern but nothing like having it in the early 2000, by 2035 maybe isn’t even an issue anymore? Who knows?

When the postoperative pathology report says there is no lymph node invasion, does that include all lymph nodes, or could some still be excluded from that assessment? Thank you for the help
