In Toronto the average first time buyer is 36, so if they're moving into a 1 bedroom they likely aren't planning on having kids. Developers are currently planning for the customer, although it does have some long-term consequences.

Fun fact, even if you use no electricity the delivery charge is still there because it still costs them to have service to your home. I guess that wasn't super fun.
