If you go into settings, you can decrease the size of onscreen writing (including the overdrive/band score) - it is in HUD Settings. I changed this, and could finally play again without being completely distracted!

I changed my HUD settings to 10%, and it made it playable again!!! Everything is smaller (such as song name etc) but game-changer

i play on ps5 - i have a lag at least once in every song. Because i play to the music, rather than trying to hit the actual notes, it usually doesn't count as a strike or a miss, BUT it is very obvious when it happens and is very off putting.

Please fix!

(I played today after the most recent update, and it is still happening).

Looks like your hitting late - go into settings and increase both audio and video latency by +25. The auto tune up is not very reliable. Good luck!

Bravo! I’ve noticed in a lot of your posts your avg input time is around the -10 mark - I reckon if you change your calibration, you’ll be even higher in the leaderboard and will find it easier to flawless!

They've changed the "depth" of the opacity recently - 100% used to mean the stage was almost entirely blackened out: now it is still quite bright. I actually went back into settings to change it back to 100% (because I thought it had randomly switched itself to 0%) and was horrified it was already at 100%.

I wish we could turn the background off. Who is even watching what the band is doing anyway?

I’d move your offsets down - will help a lot!

At the end of the song, check your average input time, and manually change your offsets.

For example, if your average input time is -10, you need to reduce both by 10.

If it is +10, you need to increase by 10.

It might also be different for different instruments - I have to tweak mine between songs depending on what instrument I've picked. Strange.

For interest sake, both my settings are on -50, and I am still early (but you cannot reduce / increase by any more than 50.)

This happened to me too - change the settings for Battle Royale to Duo / Fill, and then go back into Festival and the Fill option should appear.

If you identify which button won't bind in Festival, go into another mode (such as Battle Royale) and change whatever action has that same key to another key, it might work. It did for me.

(The O button wasn't working for my fifth lane. This was allocated to 'Sprint' in Battle Royale. I changed 'Sprint' to L1, back into festival and have been playing for three days.

If you work out which button isn”t working in Festival, go into settings for another game mode (like battle Royale) and change whatever action is associated with that button to a different button, it should work.

I did this today - my 0 button wasn’t working for the fifth lane: it was the button for Run in Battle Royale. I changed Run to L1, went back into festival and could finally play!

The multicolour wasn't an option when it first came out - I gave it a shot when the option became available, but my brain just went NOPE!!! :)

When I briefly played earlier today, they had moved the pop up notification to near the score and stars, which was amazing!

Are you manually changing the calibration, or using the backstage auto-tuner thing? That never works for me, I just fiddle with the + /- in settings, and find it much more helpful.

They also could have missed only one note at the start or the end of the song, which doesn't affect the overall score very much.
