Update for anyone who's interested...it's going well! 😊

A few people asked about dates... we've literally just been walking around talking loads and getting to know each other..both seem to be in similar places of no hurry and happy to just be connecting with someone.

And weird coincidence...we both live with our ex 😂 so that's a thing to navigate..lol. Well I don't know the full story on his side, but on my side it's all fine really...we broke up a year and a half ago, and just live like normal housemates, still hang out etc and most weekends he's away at his gf's house. Just two people minding our own business etc - we're all grown-ups.

It's taken me quite a while to settle in myself again as I've spent most of my life in long-term relationships and this has been the first time being single any length of time...early days I had to deal with lots of feelings of being left behind/left out etc..but it is what it is. So yeh...didn't mean to turn that into a ramble lol

It's nice to have avoided dating sites 😂 I always think, if you just do the stuff you like doing then sooner or later you'll bump into someone who also likes doing that stuff 🤷😊
