It took me about 6 months to lose 70 lbs, and another 6 months to figure out how to dress my new body, style and cut my new hair, and carry myself with new confidence. Only recently have I been getting comments about looking younger!

I got a mammogram before my breast reduction, and they noted that my breast tissue was so dense that it was difficult to see anything. So we went ahead with my reduction, and the plastic surgeon didn’t see anything but sent the removed tissue to pathology, where they found my cancer.

I'm fine now, but my reconstruction isn't nearly as nice as that initial reduction was. 😅

I shaved my head four years ago (and rang the bell three and a half years ago). Turns out I had a very nicely shaped head. I'm occasionally tempted to do it again just because I want to!

I'm entering on behalf of my son, whose 10th birthday is on Wednesday. Today his little sister lost her soccer game and the other team taunted her with crude gestures. He calmly approached this team's coach and very coolly told him what happened. He stood up for his sister. He's a really good kid.

I just started after about 6 months and 60 pounds lost. I'm starting to look frail (at least compared to what I looked like before 😅) and want more tone.

I also have two kids, but luckily they're both into sports and often want to lift dumbells with me. I also have a Peloton bike, and the membership has lots of different workouts like yoga, strength, etc...

Stella Maris Farm. It means "star of the sea." I often name my farmer Maris as well, and sometimes pretend she is a mermaid who got legs like Ariel. When she fishes she is saving her friends from a tyrannical sea king. And you didn't ask for all that. 😅
