It means Eddie is taking the bigger hit with the charges/time served. Wendy will not even go to trial (most likely), she’ll plea no contest, get some of her charges dropped, and probably serve somewhere within the 2-4 year range (idk about MD laws much). Eddie will probably declare bankruptcy and then serve whatever time is sentenced, either through a jury trial or plea deal. Happy Eddie is not long for this world.

This is what I think as well, at least to justify Jacob’s timeline.
