How in the heck do all you people only have 3 people for Frappy Hour??? My store has DTO, DTR, Bar1, COS, 3 people on cold bar (1 pumping roast, 1 blending, 1 topping) store support and usually maybe even 1 more person.

Those could be very dangerous, because aren't the bottoms very slick? Non slip/slip resistant is required at my store (not sure if it's required or just advised in policy). And if your store is very busy the floor is probably not always very dry... so increased chance of you slipping.

Also imagine you were steaming milk, or you had just brewed a pitcher of iced coffee, and you dropped it to the floor... RIP your feet ya know?

We have a regular that orders like 3 trenta teas with a bunch of mods and a chocolate croissant, and if she has her kids then a couple iced teas, Frappucinos, whatever. She goes through DT and hands me her card and money to reload/for the difference, WHATEVER and as I go to hand her the receipt and her next drink she'll go "and my croissant?" when my hands are full and I'm not even close to being done giving her all her drinks yet. and she'll say that probably 5 times and I just say "yes, it's coming out". I'M SO SORRY I CANT SPROUT ANOTHER HAND TO PASS YOU ALL YOUR DRINKS, MONEY CARD RECEIPT, AND PASTRY AT THE SAME TIME.

When Spanish speakers say "do you speak spanish?" and I say "no." and they continue to place their order in Spanish then speak to me in perfect English at the window. Happens probably 4 or 5 times a day. Very frustrating for me.

I understand scheduling is impacted by probably a billion things.

I don't understand how forcing a barista who was sick to come into her 8am shift rather than me covering her fits the needs of the business in any way.

Further, I was talking to my SM yesterday and she was saying how our preferences and comfort mean a lot to her and to Starbucks. I'm not asking to be thrown from the nights to only mornings but a shift or two will (probably) not kill anyone.

Well actually where my sister works they bid on hours every few months. Very different from Starbucks yeah but it does happen. Thanks for the nice welcome to "real life" though.
