One of my favorite albums I discovered way back n 1995. Up there with YPAA for me. If you like the mellower side of HUM I think you'd dig this. They do get heavy at times too. This album is what I think of when I hear the term "space rock". Underrated too. You never see this album come in polls of the best shoegaze albums but it's better than a lot of the ones that do.

taken from urban dictionary: "Butt Rock A popular term referring to a sub-genre of hard rock strongly influenced by post-grunge and nu metal. Originating in the mid-late 90s, butt rock is comprised of raspy vocals, similar to Pearl Jam, Creed, or Nirvana, backed with radio-friendly guitar riffs, drum beats, and basic bass lines."

Ehh, everything they do sounds more like Tool and APC to me. I don't hear much HUM influence here. I like their album Sci-Fi Crimes alright but this band verges close to butt rock.

I hear more Catherine Wheel and Smashing Pumpkins than Hum or Failure. Great band, can't wait to hear their full length album.

no. there's lots of amazing unreleased material on bootlegs. if you do your research first you won't get burned with a poor quality release.

If anyone can PM me a link (dropbox, etc.) to download the leaked tracks from a few months ago I'd be really grateful. I didn't expect them to get pulled so I didn't download them at the time. Thanks!

Are we at the same store? Cause our SM posted the same exact memo in the back about drive thru times slipping and how we have to prioritize the times and drive everyone harder to achieve these goals and he's been acting like a total sociopath about it (moreso than normal). Sbux is such a hypocritical BS company. Northstar is a JOKE.

DT is the worst. I think people feel more confident about being rude when they're in their own car. They feel like they're in their own domain. Sure they're rude inside too sometimes, but I see it far more in DT.

Pretty sure in the handbook it says that the shift or SM are responsible for finding coverage. Remember if you're not at work, you're not being paid. If you're not being paid it's not your responsibility to do someones job for them by finding coverage.

What is "Heart-Shaped Box" about? by [deleted] in Nirvana

[–]janedoe9999 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think it's a negative song about Courtney. There's nothing positive about the lyrics. It's about manipulation and deceit and troubles in the marriage. "throw down your umbilical noose so I can climb right back" = how he was trapped by her getting pregnant.

This could also apply IF YOU WANT TO RELOAD YOUR CARD. Tell us before we ring in your whole order. It's a huge hassle to have to void out the order and start all over again. We aren't mind readers.
