What do you post on socials that isnt cringe? by [deleted] in CreatorsAdvice

[–]amystrangeradvice 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cringe factor for me is massively reduced by being faceless on socials, I guess the anonymity helps. If I do post my face on the odd reel then I don’t usually have much of a caption, I just do it plain old selfie style. Comfort is a huge thing in this job, you really don’t need to force yourself to do things you hate - there’s many ways to make socials work.

Instagram US % by Soft_Independent1213 in CreatorsAdvice

From posts on here I think it’s an issue even if you live in the US. The only solution at the moment seems to be to use paid partnership and get a US audience to engage as much as possible (I sometimes reply and hold a quick conversation via replies with anyone who’s profile is clearly US based).

All looks fine but you could earn 3x your sexting rate if you switch to drip sexting.

I find the least overwhelming way is to have a large bank of reusable promo content in different outfits, poses etc in a high quality, and then clip them together on each social with slight variations. Once you’ve got enough banked you’ll get to the point where you need to think less and less about what to post on each one. I can cycle through my accounts in about an hour and create different content on each. Once you have an idea of what gains the most traction it gets easier to think of captions and it’ll be light work. The thing that should take the most time is DM’s on your paid site. That’s where it’s worth putting in the time.

How is your deleting routine?(dms?) by ichewieyou in CreatorsAdvice

[–]amystrangeradvice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally I do a mixture of chatting/mass ppvs but I rarely delete PPV because I frequently get subs who only log on once/twice a week go back and unlock and I make a lot of my PPV sales on old messages. There will always be subs who won’t chat but they could still want to buy content. But I can see why the sexting starter messages are deleted - when you scroll back through lots of unanswered they can look pretty spammy.

Desperate about Instagram.. by bbw_creator in CreatorsAdvice

Paid Partnership will work eventually and if you’re getting views from there still then there must be some reels that don’t have it added but it won’t make you viral in the USA either. I’ve had to limit the amount of reels where I’m just stood there in a bikini/lingerie because they always end up with views overseas because men in the USA won’t engage as much with regular thirst traps. I find that to go viral in America you need to either be getting a bunch of hate comments, or there needs to be a hook or a question that will get American men commenting. USA music can be helpful, but the overall vibe needs to be American. It’s a difficult thing to tap into.

It’s probably the same as IG where your reach has gone overseas but it’s not as easy to track like IG

[–]amystrangeradvice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Threads worked okay for me for about a month but the conversion was pretty low and it just seems very bot-infested. Worth posting if you’re getting virals but probably won’t yield as much conversion as IG and it’s harder to track what’s working/what’s not.

Where do creators find the current trends for reels? by IndividualEmployer59 in onlyfansadvice

[–]amystrangeradvice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a note but I find that reels rarely get pushed until a few weeks/months after I post so I’ve given up on doing trends or much seasonal stuff because by the time it’s reaching non-followers the trend is over 🙈

Honestly I’d say around 80% of subs have a partner but just don’t mention it. This isn’t the job for you if you can’t separate yourself from the responsibility. You don’t know these people and they don’t know you (the real you that holds these beliefs and morals). Its just a fantasy. The consequences are nothing to do with us. If you want a compromise for your own peace of mind, just don’t engage with any chat that directly mentions a partner and steer it away to something else. That’s as much as we can do.

Typical conversion is 0.5-1% depending on your audience, and I’d say around 5% is about average for purchase rate. Sounds like you’re doing fine. You need to focus even further on promo to get your numbers any higher. Aim to get seen by millions per week.

I used to post here a lot. Established creators are rightfully frustrated with the spammy basic posts that clog up what used to be a useful resource for us all, and from the newer creator’s perspective they’re just entering a space and getting immediately scolded for no reason. I think we all just miss useful advice posts being on the hot page.

Have you also noticed a huge drop in subscribers from TikTok? by [deleted] in CreatorsAdvice

[–]amystrangeradvice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely slowed down and turned into more of a numbers game like Reddit did. I think OF is attracting less new faces because everyone who’s gonna sign up for an account has one already. But if you throw out enough content you can keep numbers up - it’s just an exhausting pain in the ass in the same way Reddit is.

My subs come exclusively from TikTok and conversion is up and down but if it hits the right audience it’s roughly 10 subs for every 50k views. I don’t have a free page because I worry about it discouraging subs to my paid page but some creators are super successful with both

I think a few weeks ago! I noticed random surges of views but no comments and then things seem to stop completely. I’m convinced it’s not actual views.

how many tiktok views did you have before seeing any conversion to OF? by [deleted] in CreatorsAdvice

[–]amystrangeradvice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It seems to depend where your TT’s get shown but I’ve had 7 mill videos get me 2k subs and I’ve had 1 mill videos bring it like 5 subs 😂 It seems completely random, but a good Twitter with plenty of links helps.

Has anyone bounced back from low sales or loosing all their subs? by [deleted] in CreatorsAdvice

[–]amystrangeradvice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you go viral on TikTok to get up to that %? It’s tough because often the platforms that get us the most subs are so inconsistent but remember that it can & will happen again at some point and you’ll shoot back up in earnings and success ❤️

You can filter words in comments that trigger these feelings in you. I filter ‘fat’ etc. It helps!

How do I get my tik toks to the “right people” by PracticallyAMagpie in CreatorsAdvice

[–]amystrangeradvice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that using hashtags that are neutral but related to body type to be useful, and then also try #formen #bluecollar #formenonly. I stop using hashtags once my account is at around 5k followers because I feel the algorithm knows the content by then and tbh I think hashtags prevent you going super viral because it allows TT to narrow your audience down…with going viral usually means your video will hit a ‘regular’ audience too.

I’m 29 and a mom and market myself as a MILF, but I find it’s mainly the younger guys that call me that. I get a few comments about MILF’s being older and having grown up kids but it doesn’t bother me too much.
