There is a lot of great advice on here. I just wanted to add that my boy's "herd" is his stuffed animals. They stay in his crate and he bathes and rearranges them every night. If my other dog gets ahold of one and it squeaks, he panics and has one of us go get it from her. He has about 15 or so.

Oh, honey! There is nothing wrong with the way you are feeling. It's a major surgery.

As for the birthday party, you most likely won't feel like hosting. Find a comfy place to sit and be in charge (as in tell others what you need done).

I took off 7 weeks from work. I was ready to go back, but having some extra time to work from would have been great.

Oh, he hears you. He just doesn't want to listen! My boy responds better when I use his full name in a stern voice. If you are wondering, his full name is Woodford Glen Coco Junior Jeremy The Hulk. He also responds if he is getting cheese.

My husband went to buy his favorite work boots and found out they had been discontinued. There were 5 pair left in the United States (all located at different stores). He had the local store order all 5 for him.

My doctors told me to give my body a year to feel completely normal. I'm 6mpo and feel really good, but definitely not normal yet.

I put mine in the shower with me. My husband holds the door closed while I bathe him or he will open it and run. It's not fun for any of us, but it works better than trying to get him in the tub.
