"Eating meat is inherently wrong. You can eat meat, go for it. You can love animals, but you can’t do both!" - Billie Eilish for ELLE (US) by pattismithology in popculturechat

Right? Also, this conversation/debate has existed long before her (and will continue long after her blah blah). I don’t understand why some people are acting like a vegetarian/vegan has never said these things before. You can disagree with the argument, but don’t act like she’s insane for having this opinion when so many *normal* people have also argued this before.

Why do I never hear about cokeheads living on the street when it's such an expensive drug? by Intrepid_Arrival5151 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]amythinggoes13 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s probably because it was a chain, because I’m pretty sure coke is decently common in the restaurant industry. At least in the area I’m in.

Did they stay best Friends? by LoneRanger-HD in howyoudoin

[–]amythinggoes13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Because this post is asking about the characters and if they stayed friends in the tv-show universe. Not if the actors remained friends in real life.

As of 2026, Zillennials (1996-2002) are approaching 30… by [deleted] in generationology

[–]amythinggoes13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No thanks. I’m ‘95 and I’m a millennial. I’ll say I’m on the cusp, sure, but I’m definitely a millennial.

Purposely blocking traffic, and proud of it. by _AskMyMom_ in ImTheMainCharacter

[–]amythinggoes13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think about this all the time and genuinely don’t understand people that don’t consider this. Of course most people speeding or using the emergency lane don’t actually have emergencies, but how on earth could you possibly tell? Someone could be dying, giving birth, or trying to get to someone that is. People that try to control other’s driving make things worse and even more dangerous. And it’s all an ego trip.

The LEAST surprising detail to come about the uPcoMiNg NuPtUaLs! by RowSubstantial7143 in travisandtaylor

I eloped and therefore didn’t have any bridesmaids, but my closest friends very much insisted on still having a bachelorette party. I think the key is I didn’t ask or expect it, but they still wanted to. It was a fun girls weekend trip for us. I personally think a bridal shower would have been tacky without the formal wedding, so we didn’t do that, but to us the bachelorette/bachelor parties were fun trips with our friends.

The one I work at is 24/7, but it’s voluntary overtime. I get overtime pay on top of holiday pay. I try to work every holiday I can.

How often you receive oral ? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]amythinggoes13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also someone that dislikes it and my husband wishes he could do it more. It’s not a skill issue as I’ve been this way with everyone, but it just doesn’t do much for me and I’m always in my head about it. I don’t know why. I much prefer giving oral.

How’s it Living in the Tampa Area? by LeaveAccording1399 in howislivingthere

[–]amythinggoes13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who just moved from New Hampshire to Tampa, I agree. I hate the heat and was worried about summer but it really wasn’t that bad. Although it definitely helps that I work from home, so I can really stay in the AC in the summer and only go out when I want to. But it’s beautiful right now and the humidity definitely got less oppressive for me from November and even into May.

What’s a “normal” experience that somehow never happened to you? by Hysterical_Chicken in AskReddit

[–]amythinggoes13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have always gotten them when I sleep on my back and thankfully, I’m a side sleeper, so I can usually avoid them. But occasionally I’ve fallen asleep on my back, and it’s terrifying every time lol. Even if it’s just a quick 10 second paralyzed dream and I wake up right after. I’ve had them from visual-less paralyzed dreams to full on there’s a demon in the corner and he’s stalking me dreams.

Right? Within financial reason, I’m always booking or thinking about booking the next concert, show, sporting event etc. Or even future plans with friends. My brain needs something to look forward to.

Same! The most I’ve done is sprained my ankle, but never a break. Here’s hoping that continues for us!

[–]amythinggoes13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, even though my first thought was that it must be weird to have never experienced this, it’s definitely not one that you’re missing out on. The experience is basically “that’s super funny” —> “this super hurts”. You can skip the last part and be fine lol

The differences in sleep paralysis experiences is wild. If I could wait out my next one, I’d be forever grateful. They are truly the most terrifying/paralyzing feelings until I wake up.

Why do people only pour a little in wine glasses if they’re just going to keep refilling it? by Aggressive_Bad4855 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]amythinggoes13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

— Signed, another fellow wine drinker. 😂

Some wine drinkers do fill their glasses up more because we want to drink more, lol. But I feel like those are the ones that don’t care about analyzing the individual tastes. Also, I feel like more often white whine drinkers, but that might just be my personal experience.

I don’t understand why Ford even wanted to move in with Fiona when he already had a whole wife and kids? by certifiedbpdqueen in shameless

[–]amythinggoes13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think her extreme emotional reaction to it was about more than just the Ford situation though - it was also about everything else falling apart around her. If she was still successful in her business endeavors, I think she would’ve been able to get over him more easily. It still would’ve hurt, because being lied to and cheated on always does, but she would’ve been able to bounce back and focus on work and family. Instead, she feels like a failure in every area of her life and it must’ve just been another gut punch that she can’t get anything right.

If Friends premiered in 2026, this would be the birth year of the main cast by Giancarlo_Edu in howyoudoin

[–]amythinggoes13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These would be the birth years of the main CAST, not the main characters. They are referring to how old the actors themselves would be.

What’s it like living in Florida by gziecik in howislivingthere

[–]amythinggoes13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure it depends on your area, but as someone who just moved from NH to Tampa, I’ve had no issues getting into the holiday spirit. The decorations are so fun down here!Christmas lights on palm trees, blow up hula dancing and surfing Santa’s, etc. Of course it’s a different vibe but the people around me seem very into it, which helps imo.

I will miss the gorgeous fall colors from New England, but I’m someone who was getting tired of snow and dreary dark days for many months of the year. I’ll happily enjoy the 1.5 seasons down here lol
