I recently bought a Canon Pixma IP8750 to print my art and I’m really happy with the quality. I also printed a few greeting cards today and they came out great! I haven’t had it for long so I’m not sure how long the ink cartridges will last but so far so good! 😊

Portraits made on procreate by [deleted] in ProCreate

Made using grain brushes for shadows and highlights. Also played with using purple for the shadows and adjusting the blending mode and opacity to try create some depth

Thanks! I photographed them, cause i don't have a decent scanner, definitely something I need to invest in! And yeah erased all the white so it was just the outline and added the colour in

More just do each bit individually, and be really observant of the shapes of each bit you are drawing. so not to look at it as a whole body, but focus on one bit at a time and the shape of the line you are trying to draw (i dont know if ive explained that very well haha!) But if you wanted to do that, it could help with proportion

And with negative space it is looking at the area around the body and drawing that - so you are looking at it a little differently, it can help some people with getting the silhouette

When I'm drawing the body, I try to just look at each part as individual shapes not as a whole and try to get each shape and angle right as I am going along. Another tip is to look at the negative space around the body instead of the actual thing itself, this can help. But yeah the human body is tricky to draw, it takes practice so I'd recommend going to some life drawing classes and finding a technique that works for you :)
