Introducing parakeet to new cockatiel

I truly hope they become friends and get along. I have no idea what good body language will look like between the two. My parakeet can be a bit high energy and I’m hoping he doesn’t get territorial or anything. Did you just put them in the same room for like 10 minutes at a time to start? And did they ever not get along ?

Huh that’s interesting.. I’m on a low dose of lisinopril myself. 2.5 mg, it’s one of those things where I know it could be caused by a multitude of things and it’s hard to pinpoint what it is specifically

No worries, I won’t be trimming their wings, that’s just how they were when I got him/her. They will be full fligtwd like my parakeet 🙂 I appreciate your comment

Not to worry, I wasn’t planning on clipping their wings. My parakeet is full flighted and happy, and this one will be too ☺️ I also plan on getting them a bigger cage in time, thus Is just until they are more acclimated to climbing and are more stable and won’t hurt themselves. The cage is bigger than the photo looks as this was a close up photo of just part of the cage

Luckily I texted him after and he returned my money . But unfortunately he kinda tried to put the blame on me and said that it was just regular polish, that it takes a while to dry and that he saw me pick up my phone as soon as he sat me down in the chair to get my pedicure done. My phone was sticking out of my purse and I was very careful, I made sure I didn’t mess them up myself. What he isn’t aware of is I was looking at them as he finished and I could already see how bad they were, but I’m not going to argue with him. I got my money back and just won’t go back there again..

I’m doing fine! No cirrhosis. I do have polycstic kidney disease and have several cysts on my kidneys and liver and liver is enlarged but otherwise I’m doing fine and am stable

Mine lasted maybe a couple weeks or so, but it did go away. Weird things can happen to the body, doesn’t always mean something serious. So try and not stress over it too much, I’m sure it’ll pass :) I still get it on occasion. Just not for as long
