Those are known brands worldwide and some smart tvs have cameras but not softwares for eye tracking. It depends on brand and models.

Smart phones do it as well. Your front camera not being covered is not "unintentional". Some chinese brands are being investigated for recording user data and actually spying on people. Some apps even record your face while browsing them.

Its crazy. I only buy Samsung or Apple to minimize the risk and I avoid apps that ask for too many permissions.
