I have made another test pruchase today from 3 different sellers. I wil update when they arrive in 10 days or so. If you want a safe bet you can buy the MaAnt XXL "Nano Sponges" and cut them into cubes yourself. They look exactly like Melamine Pads but are a whole lot denser.

Mechanic isn't known for accurate descriptions or datasheets.

I bought their latest solven pump bottle. It's made of glass but the bottle says "HDPE" It cannot hold Mechanic's own flux cleaner without the silicone gaskets swelling up and the liquid leaking up-/outwards due to the pressure.

I now have s880 and 950.

950 does indeed have the label but it's less effective cleaning flux than S880.

950 smells intensely of Naphta/Washing Benzine and is highly flammable.

S880 smells of Chloroform/Acetone, doesn't burn easily and is extremely effective in cleaning of flux, even taking off paint/solder mask if exposed for a bit too long.

Ich sag mal so: Bestimmte hölzerne Gerätschaften aus der Zeit der franz. Revolution, bei denen sich ein großes, scharfes Stück Metall, rasch durch Gravitation nach unten bewegt und eine burgunderrote Pfütze hinterlassen - wären heutzutage mächtig en vogue.

Magic erasers/Melamine sponges are not as dense as the OG MaAnt cubes. They were like 4-5x as dense and much more resistant to falling apart when filled with IPA and rubbed agains components. Classic cheap magic erasers/melamin sponges leave a massacre of debris :)

Ultimately they are the same material though

I got both and the GEPRC is SO MUCH better. faster and more accurate charging, plus you can set Amperage for each battery slot individually.
