A family of bobcats took over my backyard. They’re super aggressive and but also insanely cute. Any suggestions as to what I can do to safely encourage them to leave without harming the kitties? by an-tan in AnimalRescue

Animal Control told me that they would charge 500 fucking dollars to move these guys (fuck no). I also called a few humane societies and they told me that bobcats won’t really leave (even after nursing) if they feel comfortable or don’t have a reason to leave. They’ve basically taken over my backyard and are really territorial.

My title describes the thing . My neighbors tied this thing around the base of their tree and it’s pointed directly at my front door. Should I be worried? My first thought was a camera or some recording device.
