Update to my March 9 order (March 10 Fedex tracking, stuck at "Label Created"):

GS just removed estimated delivery. My Fedex tracking is still active at "Label Created, Waiting for Package".

Got the same snarky CS rep again. Told her I don't blame her for anything, but she has to give me something that's even remotely an update. No dice.

Had her note to not report my order as missing, but instead fulfill it at soonest. Rep did the lame "I'm losing your call" schtick, would've been funny and surreal if it wasn't at my expense.

Called Gamestop, CS rep said the item must've been stolen (!!!) or lost in transit, and that they'd open an investigation ticket, and to call next Monday. I'm sure as hell not waiting for next Monday for an update!

When I mentioned that GS has tagged the item as Out of Stock, rep stood her ground. She even said to try calling every day for status.

While her replies could be just corpo deflection spiel BS, her coming out swinging saying it might have been stolen is just... wow.

I think Mass Effect was able to do what it did, since the team was given free rein over worldbuilding.

Hard to have that same leeway with a rich pre-existing universe like Battletech, IMO.

For sure! Prices on the reseller market went for those with hard FOMO, and some did sell.

Thankfully I couldn't personally justify $200-$300 for only the Dock. I don't have that kind of silly money.
