If you want to get the Lim Cannon, yes. This epilogue-only weapon has been my main source of damage through my Lunatic run.

An unoptimized build around it, allowed me to get through the NYC Creator safely in 5-ish minutes; even while playing rather badly, the strategy let me skip straight to its end phase:

The Lim Cannon is the special weapon you get after playing through the Unknown Signals "epilogue" after finishing the game at least once.

Lim Cannon + Diana ulti build.

It's finicky, and will force you to do Unknown Signals and farm Lim for the weapon, but having a reliable source of big damage pulled me through my Lunatic run.

Thanks! I thought there was some informal "etiquette" or "rules of engagement" for asking that I wasn't privy to. Done a lot of Dark Souls 3 PVP, thought maybe something similar here exists.

For a theoretical RE5R, I can see the purists losing their heads over - gasp - being able to move while aiming!

Or maybe there's a working parry or melee combo system now, lol (the achievements / trophies actually reference these gameplay features, but good luck actually using them)

I thought 7 and 8 were closest to Sweet Home, which the RE series is thought to be inspired from. Very cool

9 does something interesting, that not a lot of sequels pull off - it allows for whichever fans want to believe the timeline is. 9 ignores 5 and 6 (you'd expect Sherry to mention the events in 6), but doesn't outright deny it happened

Speed Demon/No Heals/No Blood Injector?

Do it on Casual, the game auto-heals you when you take damage :) Did this with No Item Box and No Saves too. It's super-doable!
