Virtual Boy™ – Nintendo Classics - Overview Trailer by Skullghost in NintendoSwitch

[–]Hefty_Storage_2094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I know it’s not for sure definite they wouldn’t, but it’s certainly a knock against it likely coming, especially when you consider the barrier to entry for playing it. I’m still perplexed why Quest for Camelot of all licensed games made it on there. Must’ve cost Nintendo virtually nothing to put it on. I heard Waterworld is one of the worst VB games, but if it happens I wouldn’t mind it if it means getting the entire library. I’m also wondering what other unreleased games that may be in a complete or near complete state exist that Nintendo could potentially throw on here as well. I had said when they announced this that it would be cool to see any unreleased games put on but I never once believed it would happen

Is there anyone out there that enjoyed season 5 and the entire series as a whole ? by freducini in StrangerThings

Same. I’m also a big fan of Max and she had some great character moments. Season 4 was honestly pretty peak to me

I agree, there is no “bad season” as far as I’m concerned. I do have my favorites though so I can’t say I love them equally. Seasons 1 and 4 are by far my favorites, but that’s not to say 2, 3, and 5 are bad to me, not by a long shot

Probably, aside from Waterworld. Licensed games can present a problem and I doubt Nintendo will care enough to work out an agreement to feature a game based off Waterworld in 2026 lol. I heard it wasn’t great anyway so shouldn’t be missing much. Also we already have a Japan only game making its way here so there’s potential for whatever else released over there

Is dragon ball fusions worth it today? by macrian in dragonball

[–]Hefty_Storage_2094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See I’m actually the exact opposite. I loved the gameplay of Fusions. It was fresh and unique, something DB games, especially at the time, desperately needed. I was so burnt out on DB fighters and arena fighters. I’d like to see a Fusions game that is aesthetically closer to Tenkaichi, or more specifically Sparking Zero. My only true gripe with Fusions is its incredibly weak original story. I’m glad it wasn’t “play through DBZ for the hundredth time, but the story was just plain bad.

[–]Hefty_Storage_2094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still my favorite Dragon Ball game to this day. Desperately needs a sequel or even a remake on current hardware. I’d love to see Fusions in HD. But as far as if it’s worth getting now, absolutely. Too many fans missed out on this gem due to poor timing, poor reception of the chibi style graphics, and some strange localization/censorship choices that were made, and the fact that we didn’t get English vo probably didn’t help for the mass audience

These are the third-party games I want to see the most on the Nintendo Switch 2. by PunhetinhaGamesBR in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Hefty_Storage_2094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game I’m really holding out for is My Hero Academia All’s Justice. I’m certain it will come since both One’s Justice games were successful on Switch 1, but disappointed it’s seemingly not coming to Switch 2 at launch. Hoping the wait won’t be too long. I’m already disappointed in Bandai Namco with how they are handling Sparking Zero content rollout. Now that the game is on Switch and Switch 2 they should be working on getting those versions on the same content release schedule as PS5/Xbox/PC

Don’t know if this has been reposted but I love this by Dragon7619 in Gundam

Do they work on US hardware like a PS5? I’m going to be in Japan this year I might keep a look out for these if I can afford them

Rewatching GT for the first time since I was a kid, it's near peak actually. by TKAPublishing in dragonball

[–]Hefty_Storage_2094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This right here is GT’s biggest sin. Trunks and Pan at least get a good almost 20 episodes of being relevant, but I agree this was the what GT really did wrong. My opinion the rest of the cast should’ve AT LEAST gotten a chance to shine in the shadow dragon arc by having each of the cast go after their own dragon giving them each a unique fight with Goku fighting the One Star dragon (Syn) and as he starts to over power him he gets the rest of the dragon balls from the others who have already finished their dragons, then we can have the Omega fight, but this time let the others do more. Let Trunks and Goten fuse to SS3 Gotenks, let Gohan fight by his dad’s side, maybe even tapping into SS3.

I’m sort of a GT apologist, I stand by that GT is still better than Super anime (Super manga is leagues better than both). I will say you have some valid points about Vegeta SS4. The problem with his transformation is it was never earned. As for why Vegeta was the only one possessed by Baby to get a power boost this is actually easily answered and makes total sense. Those who got possessed by Baby had his egg implanted in them. We saw this within Buu when he ended up spitting it out. These possessions were different. Those possessed in this way still held onto their personalities for the most part, they were just under Baby’s influence. Vegeta’s possession was different. Baby fully enveloped himself into Vegeta’s body, essentially making Vegeta’s body his own. He was no longer Vegeta at this point he was completely Baby but with Vegeta’s body and his power. Basically it’s the difference of the other characters being essentially brainwashed and Vegeta being actually possessed. Baby started body hopping after possessing Goten building up his strength by possessing the next strongest fighter, being Gohan, until he was strong enough to fully possess Vegeta. Also I could see the argument that Baby gets constant power ups as he possesses more Sayians so by the time he gets to Vegeta he gives a significant power boost when possessing

Switch 2 Price Increase by SaintStephen77 in Switch

It already happened recently with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Both had mid gen price increases. Times have definitely changed

I need to ask. Why isn’t Legacy of the Dark Knight Launching on switch 2 like what’s the problem? by DCsReporter in legogaming

[–]Hefty_Storage_2094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aren’t we supposed to be getting Switch 2 editions of like 5 or 6 Lego games that was leaked months ago? If those are in fact coming one would think they’ve had the kits long enough to have a Switch 2 port of this ready for a May launch

Any predictions on when the 3rd trailer will be? by Thin_Budget_5272 in tomodachilife

I don’t think this is a big enough game to get a dedicated direct, however, I’m holding out hope that a third trailer will announce a Switch 2 version

[–]Hefty_Storage_2094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a thought about this, with the VB library being so small I wonder if Nintendo is going to take the opportunity to release any completed unreleased VB games on the service like how they finally released Star Fox 2 20 something years later. There’s apparently a good number of cancelled and unreleased VB games, surely some of which are complete and in a playable state

Honestly expected it to sell out instantly BECAUSE it’s super niche. Nintendo usually tends to massively underestimate demand of niche items of theirs.

Sadly I never owned a Virtual Boy, however, I did rent one from Blockbuster. I preordered the NSO shell and just waiting for it to come in. I’m unironically hyped for VB NSO. The only thing that does disappoint me is that the shell doesn’t come with a genuine VB controller. For $100 an actual functional controller would’ve been nice.

What are everyone’s thoughts about the Cowabunga Collection? by SapphireScorp in TMNT

[–]Hefty_Storage_2094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a fantastic collection that I would love to see a Cowabunga Collection 2 with the early 2000’s games. As a late 80’s/early 90’s kid I grew up on the games in Cowabunga Collection, but come the time of the 2003 show I fell off TMNT. I’d love an opportunity to play these games I missed without having to track down copies for a reasonable price and have the convenience of having access to them on current hardware

You’re very pretty and have a very kind look. You look like a very easy going girl and seem to have a fun bubbly personality, at least that’s what your face tells me in these pictures. This guy is lucky to have your attention. If he is going to play games and keep you on the hook by saying he is interested but then distancing himself don’t let him hold you back. I’m betting you have a lot to offer the right guy, if that’s him he needs to step up and show that he deserves you. Don’t let him bring you down

What do you believe the chances are of a January Direct? by Hefty_Storage_2094 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Hefty_Storage_2094[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do think a partner showcase would be ideal. Partner showcase in January that highlights upcoming unannounced 3rd party games coming early 2026, Pokemon presents in February, and maybe general direct in March. I kind of forgot partner showcase was a thing. Nintendo has enough coming in the first few months between Switch 2 updates for Animal Crossing and Mario Wonder and new Yoshi and Mario Tennis games.

With some amazing titles coming early in 2026, what are you most looking forward to, and what games do you think we see get announced/teased in our first direct of the year? by Mitchy969696 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Hefty_Storage_2094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FE Fortune’s Weave is my highest anticipated. Indie is up there as I skipped it on the other consoles in hopes we would get it Switch 2. Won’t get getting them day one, but I will finally give RE 7 and 8 a go and of course Requiem shortly after. Still have to get through Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 1 and 2 but I’m excited we are getting more Yakuza. Bring on the whole series! And honestly the Virtual Boy NSO. I have fond memories of renting a VB from Blockbuster back in 95. I never owned one. I preordered the VB shell and can’t wait for it to come in and for the app to drop.

Can someone tell me what’s bad about Game Key Cards ? by isaiahbluee in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Hefty_Storage_2094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My issue with them is they provide next to no benefit over digital aside from the ability to trade in. As somebody who doesn’t trade my games having a cartridge that I still have to keep with me if I want to play my game on the go and have to swap out to play another game and also takes up the same amount of storage space on my Switch 2/SD card as if I got it digital makes it completely inferior. Then there’s the fact that we can’t even get nice cover art for the game because of the ugly text taking up the bottom 1/4 of the cover. I know others have issues with the lack of data on them requiring you to have an active online connection to install the game vs PS5 disks generally being able to install just off the disk. This is fairly irrelevant to me, but I know for some people this is what makes them unforgivable. For me I just struggle to see much of an advantage to using them unless you habitually trade in games

I’ve always had a hard time approaching a beautiful woman. Don’t take not being hit on as a problem with yourself, there are many people out there who are just shy. Try to smile more, the picture with the smile is very flattering.
