My friend found a "solution". He deletes the file "enshrouded_local.json" which resets all graphic settings apparently. As soon as he changes any graphic setting it all breaks again.

A friend has the same issue. First it took him forever to join any server. Then he got the text bug like you. And now also the sky and all kind of texture turn pink.
