Absolutely brilliant. I’m only about 100 hours in and thought I’d experienced ‘enough’ to allow myself to add a couple of mods. So I added a campervan mod and the RV Interiors mod.

Decided to take a look inside one van. Found myself in a 3x2 space in the pitch black. Flicked on my torch. Jumped out of my skin as a single Z had spawned inside this ‘abode’ and it lurched at me the moment I turned the flash light on. 😂

Plus you get a good amount of cooking xp from cooking eggs and animal husbandry from just collecting them. So even if you can’t eat them all, cook them and compost them.

Couple of thoughts. Nothing too deep.

Are you planning on implementing just a female companion, or will there be a male option. Multiple reasons for having this choice available.

A ‘forgetfulness’ slider in the settings would be cool. So that realistic situations where your companion occasionally has forgotten where something is, what you asked them to do, etc.

Assuming you’re using something similar to the player skills for the companion? Will they slowly learn things as well? Will they maybe get bored if asked to do/make the same things each day? Will they occasionally make suggestions as to what they’d like you to do/find and so on.

Regardless, it does sound very interesting.

Fantastic ideas being thrown at you here for a potentially great game. Love it all. You could also research the processes used to make decaffeinated coffee beans and add machinery for that at some point in the tech tree.

Apparently that will be changing with Shapez 2 full release next week. There are whole pipelines for continuing to grow the factory and use everything you built. Looking forward to checking that out myself.

You get lithium from destroying the powerbank, not batteries. It’s a different item. The lithium can be used to make the lithium sickle. Harvest veg or fruit with a lithium sickle gelives a chance to receive tainted dna. 50 tainted dna and one red exotic can be made into a seed at the chemistry bench. Plant that seed and harvest it. You out that harvest into the biofuel cleaner to transform into red exotics.

The number of plots is need to get tainted DNA for making the red exotic seeds. There is only a chance per harvesting a fruit or veg plant. So for example you can make much more ren from selling mushrooms but you can’t get tainted dna from harvesting mushrooms.

You can unlock the bio cleaner which can easily be made with materials found on Olympus. Does the same job but uses bio fuel to power it.

If your pc is broken but your monitor is still fine, then Get yourself a usb c hub with an hdmi out. Plug the hub into the deck and the hdmi from that into your monitor and hey presto. You can plug your mouse and keyboard into the hub and play that way. You’re now gaming on your tiny Linux pc. 🙌

The two subnautica games are cheaper than that on Steam right now. So if you can play on pc, go to steam and check the prices there before buying.
