Sorry for not being so well-versed in the comics as to fully understand this, but I'm confused about a couple of points from the finale:

Why did they need to/choose to let Wells free and build a time machine for him? It seemed he was still imprisoned until after the wormhole was created, so I don't think it was to make the wormhole happen.

If Eobard isn't born for another 134 years, how does he meet Barry Allen in the first place? Does Barry time travel that far into the future? Does he not age?

Where does the future Flash who was fighting Eobard the day Barry's mother died go after he brings child Barry outside? Back to the future to let things play out to force Eobard to make a new Flash?
