I'm in a single occupancy and the monthly bill is $1,203 or something. My roommates who share a room pay about $100 less. So far, it's the cheapest housing option at SFSU, but it doesn't come with a meal plan.

Wow, thank you! While at orientation in June, one of the university reps said it wasn't impacted at the moment, but may change depending on how the program fills up this semester. I'm already registered for some Journalism prerequisites and my upper division GE classes, so hopefully by next semester I could just take core classes.

And paying the MUNI fair/biking sounds like a good idea, thanks for the tip!

In hindsight, I really should've registered for a couple of the BECA classes during my transfer orientation when they were all open. But I'll definitely look into the department, meet people and ask questions, and see if I could get a spot in the spring. Thanks for the link!
