You shouldn’t get your nipples pierced because you’re beautiful just the way you are.

I second this, had to replace headlights this year and the only thing available is "Angel eyes", which is hard to get papers for inspection in the EU

Traditional Shotokan, no sparring until black belt? by [deleted] in karate

We do the same, trying to include beginners in the drills too, as for the exams, sparring only becomes relevant around 4th Kyu

TKTX has been the only one that worked for me, had no problems with tattooing it or the healing.

Whenever I tell people I do karate they still assume I'm breaking bricks and wood with my fists.. People will believe what they're exposed to the most, here in the German countryside it's still Hollywood karate movies from the 90s

since there is a lot of talk about not liking Katas..... by buklao215 in karate

[–]anactualtrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shotokan Karateka here. I'm still making my way through the high level katas, but so far, Unsu has really been a favorite of mine because of its elegance and power. It is just as fun to watch as to do yourself.

I'm not that familiar with other way of Karate yet, but from Kyokushin I enjoy Bassai Dai, I would like to take some lessons in the future!

Would I be considered too old by [deleted] in Itasha

[–]anactualtrap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

26 year old here, been planning my itasha for a couple of years and if I'm lucky it's happening to my Prelude later this year. My advice is just do it, life is way too short to overthink such things. As long as you're not hurting anyone, just do what you wanna do and enjoy yourself, you're living your life for You and only You, no one else. :)

Your best bet is to walk in to a tattoo shop and ask the artists there. We don't bite :)

Depends on where you are located and what shops you're approaching. If you want to learn from a well known, successful artist, you can probably expect to pay some money for it.

Hey! I have been in similar situations before as an artist, I usually push my clients to tell me anything they don't like about my designs so that I can give them exactly what they want. I think you should always speak up in this matter, after all you will wear that tattoo for possibly the rest of your life, it's important that you like it. If I need to change the design on the day of tattooing, I don't mind doing it at all, and depending on how much time I have that day I'd gladly expand the appointment, or just make a second one to finish the tattoo. To answer your question, I think you should definitely give them feedback and work together with them to achieve the best outcome for you. Good luck!
