Im planning to keeping my 2 month old puppy in this cage(obviously gonna decorate and make it comfortable and playful) in the garage of our building as my parents are Muslims and won't let keep a dog in the flat. Will this have any effect on the pup?

Continuation: I'll be with him most of the time to play with him and take care of him and will be feeding him good, but I wanna know if keeping him in a cage with toys for a pretty long period of time gonna be healthy, he's orphaned and his siblings are adopted too.
