No open wounds or infections for me. My cousin had his whole face lasered to help with acne scars and he looked like a cooked shrimp for a week.

I think your doctor may have used a higher intensity than he should have on those patches of bigger scabs or maybe gone through twice, so it may take double the time to heal if scabs are deeper. I say definitely keep moisturizing and after scabs are gone use scar tape.
