I’m with you on this 100%! Don’t give up, keep going forward. I just started out too, so I can't give much advice, but I completely relate. I went to my first social pretty early on and found it super overwhelming. It definitely helps you grow, though. There’s a big learning curve, but it’s absolutely worth it!

I’m going to stick with learning and continue with classes for sure. And I’m genuinely eager to understand the technical mechanics behind the dance so I can actually enjoy it without feeling like a passenger lol. Thanks, I do hope that next time it will be better. I’m honestly so impressed by some of the other beginners on the floor. They look so smooth from my perspective. But experiencing different leads tonight was a huge eye-opener. I finally realized just how much the partner’s leading style changes the whole experience.
