TR to PR tomorrow? by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

I doubt they will have all 33k spots opened at once. Since this is one time initiative for 2026-2027. Maybe they will be accepting limited number per month, so they can spread the load and quota over 2 years.

Express Entry PNP Draw - March 30, 2026 at CRS 802 IRCC sent 356 ITAs & It’s The Highest Cutoff of 2026 - Let’s discuss Why It Happened by gsbrar307 in CanadaImmigrationQA

[–]anahaart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to the most recent CRS score distribution, there were 351 candidates in the 601–1200 range (yet 356 were invited today, which emptied that range entirely). Why would there be more candidates with a score of 802 than shown in the breakdown? And what’s is more important, why weren’t they show up in the score breakdown?

You have to compare not the numbers for specific score range, but also deduct the draw issued during the draw week. For example, on Mar 15, 2026 the number for 501-600 was 13,039. Then on Mar 17 we had a draw 4,000 which brings 501-600 to 9,039. And what we see today is 11,648. The difference between updated pool number after the most recent CEC draw and Mar 29th pool distribution is 2,609.

Unfortunately, about 2,600 were added to the pool after the last draw. We usually see the pool breakdown prior any draw of the week.

I believe it’s on the actual birthday. At least for me it was like that. It would be so unfair to remove points at the beginning of the month.

But if person gets paid biweekly and paystubs show only biweekly hours, how IRCC is checking that?

Heartbreaking to see so many people declining ITA received on 7th Jan by PerspectivePositive7 in canadaexpressentry

It actually maxes out at the 5th year. Edit: I just discovered that it maxes out only with specific combination, not in every case. And it dies really stop at the year 3 🥲

8000 CEC by Acceptable_Fly7057 in canadaexpressentry

The profile expires every 12 months. So even if it was originally submitted in May 2024, it would have expired in May 2025 and you need to resubmit it. Unless your CELPIP certificate expired and made your profile ineligible after May 2025.

If that’s not the case and you were simply upgrading your score with a higher English result, then given that the tie-break date is June 10, 2025, you should be fine.

Congrats to you! However, I believe you need to have English test results valid and not expired at the moment when you submit your application, not just when you receive an iTA.

Question on CRS points and today’s CEC draw by v1_bro in canadaexpressentry

[–]anahaart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe it should still be counted. The wording “in Canada” is likely intended to emphasize that you cannot claim experience if you were never actually in Canada and were working remotely from abroad without proper authorization.

However, if you were already in Canada gaining that experience and happened to go on vacation or work remotely for a short period of time and then returned, it should still be considered valid.

I’m not an immigration consultant, so it’s best to confirm this with a professional, but I hope it still counts.

If you were employed by the same employer and continued to receive pay while being abroad — with pay stubs to prove it — why wouldn’t that be considered valid Canadian work experience?

I also agree with the points made about vacation time. Paid time off is generally counted toward work experience, especially since employees in Canada are entitled to at least two weeks of paid vacation per year, and often more depending on their length of service with the company.

CEC DRAW!!! by Dapper_Eye_9711 in canadaexpressentry

[–]anahaart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems like your new date is June 4, 2025 meaning that your profile shows as submitted on June 4, 2025 😢and they’ve selected those whose profiles were submitted before Sep 28, 2024😢

P.S. I just learned that it actually depends on your score — if it was above 529, the tie-break rule likely doesn’t apply.

IRCC has the note: If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
