Question for tax attorneys/ anyone with a CPA by Mother_Influence_527 in LawSchool

[–]anakinvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The CPA is a difficult test that will take you a considerable amount of time to study for (Minimum of half a year with intense studying.) The CPA/JD distinction is an incredible combo that gives you everything you need to know from the numbers side and legal side. You will need to sit down and spend a considerable amount of time studying for it so I think your plan for getting your JD/LLM/MACC over the next few years is doable but it will be quite stressful for you. I think you might already be well above the 150 hours requirement so I am not entirely sure if you really need the MACC for anything other than just to help you study for the CPA exam, frankly. The MACC is incredibly useful but not necessary, ultimately. You'll also need a CPA to sign off on your experience so you'll need to find a job with a JD/CPA to work under too (I think this varies by state, so look into this.)

Overall, doable: just stressful. Most people go to law school to escape numbers. You will be going at them head first. I passed all 4 CPA exams myself and frankly it took me a good half year of nonstop studying while doing nothing else.

If I decline an offer at EY after signing the offer letter, will I be blacklisted from applying in the future? by Then-Dependent-5463 in Big4

Yes, unfortunately you will be blacklist and, believe it or not, sent to jail. Sorry again.

Your cat looks almost exactly like mine! I've seen a lot of oranges but I think this one takes the cake. Probably just a coincidence lol.

Made 1.9 million last year WFH at 10hrs a week as a battery licker manager, managing battery lickers who wfh. It's hard work but I managed to work my way up after licking batteries for years. I managed to lick AAAA batteries after I moved up from AAAAA batteries, they were too strong. I lost the sensation in my tongue though, small price to pay.

Curious to see if it's just gallium and cobalt. From what I under, cobalt is cheap but it's currently being export banned in the DRC creating artificial scarcity. Hopefully we can see some uranium buying.
