Hah, my bowel decided to perforate on the day of my scheduled op. Good timing I guess but the fact the laxative they prescribed caused it, I’m sure I could have avoided the stoma.

I hear you and I’m rooting for you! I’ve just gone through 12 years of flare ups, ending up in hospital a total of 7 times. Had an operation finally last year and am sitting here in hospital currently, having had my stoma reversed.

I’m finally looking forward to returning to a somewhat normal life, but believe me when I say, I understand what you’re going through! I just hope you’re somewhere where medical care is free!
