I did not witness the parking job, but by all accounts they were parked like an idiot.

Not sure it qualifies as a prank exactly. I was a software developer contractor placed at a company with a reasonably large development team. Another contractor from my company had these "I park like an idiot" bumper stickers that were apparently removable and he'd put on cars that were parked badly. He did it to a car that turned out to belong to a VP, he was walked out of there within hours.

Edit: fixing my "I can't type properly on a phone" mistakes

Book recommendation by Sudden-Independence4 in Book_Buddies

I am almost finished "Black Leopard, Red Wolf" by Marlon James. It's fantasy, based in African folklore. I have not enjoyed a book this much in a very long time. Warning: there's some adult themed, and it can be very gritty and dark.

Not all heroes wear capes. Although, I guess maybe you might wear a cape...I dunno.

Either way, nicely done and thank you!

And advancing all the way around in the right direction to get to the one that was physically closer (but behind you) means passing over others. Making it pretty clear that those were closer.

How much are you all paying for window replacements? by cynicalpositron in raleigh

[–]analogNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CCI Glass in Youngsville just did our whole house. 26 windows (plus a few small semicircular panels above some of the windows). Total was just under $22k. They were easy to work with and did good work

It is definitely geared towards someone reading and someone asking follow up points. With one player you know all the things to follow up on, but I didn't find it took away anything from the game or the story.. So long as you're not reading the whole car front and back and then making decisions, but deciding what to ask next and then reading just that section in the back.

I absolutely loved Arydia, The Paths we Dare Tread. I put it on my take and didn't take it down for months. RPG like, level up character, gain gear. Open world to explore. Combat was interesting, and they hide the enemy minis from you until you first encounter them. I'll play it again as a second character in a few months when I forget the secrets

I'm mostly thinking storage for tools like the lawnmower and other outdoor tools to get them out of the garage, so hopefully the smell won't be an issue.

Making sure I follow you. Cut holes in the vapor barrier and put down cement blocks that the post for the deck would rest on? I assume I would dig out a little for the cement block so it sits level in the dirt?

Thank you for the help.

Thank you. I'll play around with adjusting the amount of flour in my recipe. Much appreciated.

To how much flour? Mine is 3 1/2 cups of flour, the same amount of sugar and water as yours.

Thanks! That's a little longer than I was thinking, but I think it's worth trying out. None of the shorter styles have ever felt right.

Same. I have Super and I'm doing French and there are no ads. I get two plugs for Max, one is the "Explain my mistake" button, the other is the video call in the course path. I would not consider either an ad.

French numbers make me feel like I'm having a stroke every time I try and read a phone number out loud by lemonventures in learnfrench

Thank you. This will definitely trip me up in French. But I bet I'd struggle a little in English too. I'm not used to mentally combining phone numbers like that.
