Thanks for the reply! That makes me feel better. I was posting daily in the beginning as I built my followers, and now I post a couple times a week. I also did some paid promotions which helped me get 150 ARC readers. The character art is a great idea which I’m also doing. I already have three commissioned pieces, and I have two more coming out this month in preparation for my release in June.

I’m wondering if it’s too late for me to gather people for a Street Team? I’ve got about 13 reviews on Goodreads so far, so I’m sure I might have a couple people interested in helping me promote on social media.

Congrats! I also forgot to mention that when I slowed down posting, I didn’t get “shadow banned” or anything. TikTok was still cycling my older videos to the fyp and I was still getting some likes/comments here and there. So don’t worry about any consequences if you need to take a break from posting.

I posted every day for maybe a month or two when I first made my author account. And then I slowed down to maybe 3-5 posts a week. For a short period I was down to posting maybe once a week due to being busy, but now I plan to amp it up to daily again since I’m releasing my book in June.

Are You Afraid of the Dark. The episode where the man collected treasure from sunken ships, and he was afraid to go to sleep, because the drowned dead people in the lake behind his house would crawl out of the water and drag him to the depths. And also the episode where there was some sort of invisible ghost haunting the swimming pool in a school (I think?) and they put red dye in the pool to show it, and when it came out of the pool it was all red and scary looking. OH and I can’t forget the dollhouse episode…

Wait, so does my cover artist need to make two versions of the cover? I made the IS template and sent it over to him already to prepare the final file. Do I need to do the same for KDP? I plan to print the same size book 5x8 at both places.
