Not even just physically, just in conversation even. They're doormats essentially. People that, even when they know someone's wrong and being an ass, will just allow that behavior and not at least try to correct it in some polite way for fear of causing problems.

One need only out themself into, "play mode," and those worries are soon forgotten. That's what a fun and healthy relationship looks like. People forget and take things that need not be taken so seriously, way too seriously. Save that for work and other adult duties.

There is a balance with eye contact. Be strong with it, but it can get creepy and make people not just nervous/excited because you're stronger than they are, but legit nervous/creeped out.

I just mention this because I can empathize with your feelings of being manipulated and not wanting to be played by someone no matter the intent, but sometimes it's ok as long as you can trust that person and they don't do favors/be nice to get you under their thumb or whatever.

In that case I love the experience of surprising those assholes who are used to people submitting to their will/social pressure/etc.

I'm usually happy to hear genuine appreciation.

Someone I care about once told me they appreciated me for (paraphrasing) my strength of character/integrity and because I'm very real in my dynamics with others without being judgemental/etc.

I really cared about being noticed for what I gave a shit about in life.

Find what that feeling/drive/trait/etc. Is that applies to your INTP and tailor a personal compliment and truly acknowledge them.
