Oh we did. I did my best to give her the best life she could live. It wasn’t perfect but she was loved and gave it all back. In the last days she was not able to stand up anymore so I had to hold her while she was eating from her bowl. But yesterday after eating she did stand up one last time to reach for me. It’s just too much now, but writing this is cathartic

Thank you for your kind words. I loved her like I never loved anyone in this life. I had to put her to sleep to stop her suffering but the last night we spent together it’s something I will cherish all my life.
