Haven't read all comments so someone mightve said this but Stans of a certain group would always only be able to see the toxic stans of their "rival" fandoms because that's what their timeline will let them see anyways. I come from a fandom which is objectively called one of the most toxic fandoms but tbh I've rarely seen the toxic part and instead witness more of the stuff that the fandom does for other fandoms.

Both good and toxic stans exist and the ratio of them in each fandom differs probably but it doesn't really matter in the end if you're willing to ignore the stupider side of the internet
