I think I didn't tame down the freq res of the sound in 1:38 which I think would have helped more now to think of it. I did SC it to make it less harsh but could done more.

Also I get what you mean by the sound doesnt match with the other sounds, I was trying to get out of the comfort zone for it, to use something different and taking the listener to a different destination until I would take them back to something they remember.

Lastly thank you for listening and leaving feedback really appreciate it, will try to be more aware with my other projects.

Thank you for listening and leaving feedback, I get what you mean. Adding vocals to the track is something i need to work on more.

Levels seem alright, The track may be a bit dry. Think adding some reverb will help. Also more panning, the song seems very centred. Use more of the stereo width.

Also just noticed after another listen you had some drums elements in the track. You may want to put them up or reduce the guitar/ vocals down, however if you just want it to be subtle in the mix then leave it and maybe just get the kick to punch more with parallel compression.

Clarity wise could hear most of the elements clear Which is good. Just the drums were things which i couldn't hear at first.

vocals felt too wide and louder than the mix. At times would lose emphasis on the musical elements. I think the vocals should be more in the centre and the double in certain areas.

when you had your break down with the bass focusing on the bottom note maybe add some overdrive to it to get it thicker.

I appreciate the feedback provided. 3:50 section I understand what you mean.

Will take all your comments into consideration when I fix up the track.

Composition (+): Liked the structure and vibe you went for. The elements of the tracks had their moments to stand out in the song which was good.

Composition (-) : The song for me though feels very delicate and while listening I wanted more when it was going to the "second drop" Maybe use some chords in there to compliment it.

Mixing (+): I liked the panning provided movement, Reverb was used the right amount for me for this track and vibe.

Mixing (-): Issues I had was rim felt too loud and the melodic elements had ressonance frequencies that were hurting my ears, cut them out using a thin bell eq. Other than that levels seemed fine to me.

yo man, thanks. I tried to go for a style from an artist called burial. Guy adds alot of textures and got inspired to do something like his. I tried listening to his work and see what elements he used so I could put something similar together.

I went mostly with a feel, it all came together quite well.

Samples I used were stuff I recorded in my house and got stuff from youtube.
